Just a quick shout out from http://www.sxsw.com

In the first session I went to I counted 24 women in a room of about 130 people.

In a conversation later in the day with Jock Gill, we talked about how women bloggers might unite into geographically close circles and join with a set of sisters in a country needing micro lending. Over time the two groups would gather and intersect (video and audio where literacy and/or language is an issue), develop trust and dependency upon each other, with the ones with cash micro lending to the one's without cash.

This might be something to talk about at BlogHerCon.
