Tag, I'm it: Five things you don't know about me

Tag:

Amazing! Charlene Li and Denise Howell, two bloggers I point to as leaders in their fields, analysis and law, have tagged me as part of this virtual holiday cocktail party. Thank you for the compliment.

My job is to tell you five things you may not know about me and then, most importantly, tag five other people in the chain. Here goes:

I believe that Americans should spend as much money every year protecting the First Amendment as we do whitening our teeth ($1+ billion).

I’m better at skiing than I am at most things. I'm worse at martial arts than I am at most things.

• I sang a capella for three years in college and almost switched my major from Political Science and Spanish to vocal music. Sometimes I still wonder if I made the right decision. (Um, no, NOT barbershop. Here’s a sample of what the group’s doing today; In my time our best song was probably Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.)

This is my favorite book of all time.

This is my guilty pleasure.

Now I’m going to tag five people who have helped open my mind in the past year. Each of these people have helped me solve a business problem through example and counsel – either in person or via their blogs. Thank you all, in alphabetical order:

  • Christopher Carfi - shoot, he's already been tagged. Okay, I tag:
  • Stefania Pomponi Butler
  • Emily Chang
  • Laina Dawes
  • Guy Kawasaki
  • Jenn Satterwhite
  • Happy holidays everyone. See you on Jan. 2!

Singing, too? What *can't* you do, lady?!

I love your teeth comparison. Plus? I will defend your right to say so.

    Happy holidays, Lisa
