my first time was at the church not too far from my house. as i perkily bounced up the path an older woman said to me, "no way you are old enough to vote"!

in 2004 i couldnt figure out where my polling station was or what county i was registered in. it was rally annoying. so i went to the poll closest to my house and voted. i have no idea if my vote was actually counted.

Thanks for this, I've linked to it from my blog. As a recently single woman, mother, and struggler from day to day, I forget sometimes that it is important to vote.

My vote counts. Everyone's does.
(And if you go by recent elections, some folks' votes count twice!)

I'm going to venture to say that most of us reading this did vote in 2004 and/or will vote on November 7. Therefore, in order to really strengthen our voice, we ought to all commit to bring a friend who is/was not so inclined to vote. Fabulous post! (Makes me wish I had seen it before posting my own far inferior rant on this topic.)

I vote, all the time, even when they don't want me to...but my question is - who is teaching their daughter to vote?

You know what fine ill vote, but that doesnt mean im going to vote for hillary. She is full of shit. I would rather vote for Chelsea

Thanks.
